Employee Care

Comprehensive Retirement Pension Program and Employee Benefits

MiTAC contributes to our employees' retirement pension fund according to the retirement regulations of various regions. In Taiwan, MiTAC has established a complete and legal retirement system in accordance with the Labor Standards Act and the Labor Pension Act, where dedicated retirement pension accounts are opened for employees, and an oversight committee was formed by capital and labor representatives to supervise the operation of the accounts. Additionally, based on the actuarial calculation by an impartial third party, the employee retirement reserve contribution rate is determined, and we make a monthly contribution of the retirement reserves to a dedicated account. All employees are enrolled in labor and health insurance according to their salary grade on their first day of employment, and we make a monthly contribution, equal to 6% of their salary, to the account.

As of December 31, 2024, the number of employees applicable to the old system (including those with old system seniority) and the new system were 311 and 1,299, respectively.Note

The balance of the old system pension account is NT$273,975,010.

Note: Blue-collar foreign migrant workers are not applicable to the retirement pension program.

In mainland China, we provide relevant social security (five insurances and one housing fund) for employees in accordance with local laws. In the United States, MiTACIS provides social security and supplemental retirement plan (401K) for employees in accordance with local laws, to ensure a secure retirement life for our employees. At present, all of the retirement pension systems in our subsidiaries worldwide are functioning normally.

For employees who retire or whose employment is terminated, we offer various transition assistance programs to promote continued employability and career plans, such as information on vocational training, social insurance enrollment, and various insurance and pension benefits.
