Empowering AI from Edge to Cloud at AIoT Taiwan 2019

 

【Taipei, Taiwan】– MiTAC Computing Technology Corp. (MCT), an industry leading server and storage solutions provider, will demonstrate our latest Acacia series GPU server and Firestone series edge server during AIoT Taiwan 2019, from October 16-18. MiTAC will be in the Taiwan-Cloud and IoT Pavilion: K1210.

 

Acacia series GPU server

The MiTAC Acacia series GPU server offers a dense enclosure architecture solution with up to 8 NVIDIA Tesla SXM2 V100 GPUs for ultra-high performance. This enables MiTAC Acacia to provide cloud computing power, such as artificial intelligence images and voice recognition capabilities. For Deep Learning (DL), Acacia provides up to 100X faster performance when compared to legacy CPU-based servers. Acacia’s hybrid Cube mesh technology includes PCI-e Gen3 with a bandwidth 80GB/s, and also supports the NVLink protocol, resolving the bottleneck problem between CPU and GPU.
 

 

Firestone series Edge Server

 

Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) Servers are designed to fulfill the growing demand of Artificial Intelligence with 5G broadband. The MiTAC Firestone series edge server is a compact 2U design, has front I/O access, and fits a 600mm depth networking rack cabinet. The model FS2D01 supports dual-socket 2nd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processor-based Edge platform. With support for up to 4 NVIDIA T4, 12 DDR4 DIMM slots and maximum expansion of up to 7 standard PCIe slots, the FS2D01 can fully accelerate the AI application at the edge of security control or home security.
